DEBA – Where Tradition
Meets the Future

Family-run, forward-thinking, and committed to responsibility – this is who we are.

DEBAReliable, solution-driven, future-focused

For over 30 years, DEBA has been designing and producing modular prefabricated bathrooms – not just as a manufacturer, but as a problem-solver.
Every construction project comes with its own unique requirements. That’s why we listen closely, think ahead, and plan proactively. We analyse, develop, and fine-tune until everything fits – technically, economically, and logistically.
What sets us apart is our ambition to create fully functional, tailor-made solutions. No off-the-shelf products – but precision planning, dependable processes, and true collaboration at eye level.
Whether it’s a hospital, care home, hotel, or residential building – we know what matters. And that’s exactly what we deliver: bathrooms that perform today – and stand the test of time tomorrow.

Modular Bathrooms Innovation Driven by Conviction

With a team of around 160 employees, we produce up to 2,600 fully equipped bathrooms each year at our site in Salzwedel – serially manufactured, precisely planned, and delivered right on schedule. In our production, machine precision meets true craftsmanship. It’s an efficient interplay that ensures quality, speed, and exact fit.

What drives us is the ambition to never stand still. We continuously invest in technology, processes, and expertise – evolving our systems to meet the increasing demands of the industry.

Our modular bathrooms are built using lightweight construction and weigh just 280 kg per square metre – without compromising functionality. This saves materials and makes integration easier across a wide range of projects – from new builds to renovations and extensions.

To us, modularity isn’t a limitation – it’s an opportunity: for shorter construction times, cost transparency, and greater planning certainty. As drivers of innovation, we think ahead – and work every day to make construction simpler, more efficient, and future-proof.

We assume responsibilitySustainability as a Principle

At DEBA, sustainability isn’t a buzzword – it’s part of our DNA. As a family-run business, we think in generations and act accordingly: resource-conscious, forward-looking, and with a clear sense of responsibility for what lies ahead.

Thanks to our optimised production line, we’ve reduced energy consumption by more than 50% since 2022. We rely on modern, energy-efficient machinery and are planning to gradually shift towards self-sufficiency through photovoltaic systems – right here at our Salzwedel site.

Our modular systems also play a key role: they lower CO₂ emissions on site, enable precise planning with minimal material waste, and significantly reduce transport and installation times. Waste reduction is embedded in every step of our process – from procurement to delivery, we prioritise efficiency and avoid unnecessary surplus.

For us, sustainable construction means: less consumption, less impact – and solutions that stand the test of time. Today. And tomorrow.

Shaping the Future Together with Our Clients

Behind every bathroom that leaves our production halls stands a team of people who know exactly what they’re doing – and why. From planning to manufacturing to logistics, DEBA brings together specialists who not only understand the process but take full responsibility for it.

We believe that good solutions don’t happen in isolation. That’s why we prioritise real collaboration – both internally and with our clients. With short lines of communication, open dialogue, and a commitment that goes beyond numbers: we want our clients to feel heard, understood, and supported.

Every project challenges us anew – and that’s exactly what drives us. Thinking ahead, anticipating needs, making things possible: that’s our mindset.

What unites us at DEBA is more than just technical expertise or structured planning. It’s character. And the shared ambition to create spaces that work – and last.
